G.R.I.T.S. - EPISODE 3

Under the Savannah College of Art and Design Film and Television department, I led the production design for episode 3 of G.R.I.T.S., Girls Raised in the South, a sitcom. We worked under a quick timeline to conceptualize, source, transform, and dress the set for shooting in front of a live audience.

The set, Belle’s Savannah, is a high end soul food restaurant with Southeastern coastal elements. To achieve this we paired materials such as rattan and marble, used a coastal blue color palette, and added art from local artists in pastel colors.
