A._bout Helena
I'm an Atlanta-based, California-grown multi-disciplinary designer & artist with experience in film, community organizations, and live events. Growing up, I spent my leisure time reading and drawing, allowing my imagination to run its wildest dreams. In all my endeavors, opportunities, and creations I bring along my personal ethos–to inspire and be inspired.
I carry my education and socio-cultural influences in my work. I completed my MFA in Production Design from Savannah College of Art & Design, an urban-planned campus in the historic city, Savannah. I obtained my BA in English & Studio Art from Santa Clara University, a Jesuit institution that also encompasses the Mission Santa Clara de Asís which is on Ohlone land. I am a long-time hula practitioner, dancing under Keolalaulani Halau.
Home will always be in the Bay Area, CA—though I currently reside in Atlanta, GA. I am able to work in both California and Georgia. I hope to continue traveling, learning from, and offering design services around the world.

A._rtist Statement
I wrote my motto “to inspire and be inspired—" upon completing undergrad in 2016. It has become a staple for what I believe in and how I describe my footprint in the world, as both a splash and a wave. It is an awareness of others’ imprint on my self, and how I act upon that to learn, create, and inspire others.
